In the wake of The Game Awards 2022, the much anticipated new Genshin Impact update is due to be released next week.
The Japanese-role-playing-game, or JRPG, released in 2020 by HoYoverse, is set to update to patch 3.3 on 7th December 2022, in light of being nominated for two categories at this year's The Game Awards.
As players are still on their mission to reunite lose siblings, Aether and Lumine, the new update can expect to see the much anticipated expansion of Sumeru, on of the in-game regions. As well as this, for 30 days, the limited 'Wanderer's' banner will be available in the game's online shop.
Genshin Impact player and fan, Jasmin Lee said "For a lot of games, it's usually only quest based, or it doesn't really have a storyline which is good, but I love that Genshin has a good mixture of both.
"I love that it allows me to play with my friends, and even people I don't really know, but everyone is so helpful in the game."
Players, like Jasmin, are excited to play as the Wanderer named Scaramouche, who is the focus of the new update.
With regards to the new update, Jasmin said “I think the one thing I’m looking forward to the most is Scaramouche, because I really want him to float in the air.”
