'Get ready to gallop! The new comedy anime 'My Deer Friend Nokotan' adapted from the manga series by Oshioshio, will air on Crunchyroll this July.
Crunchyroll has unveiled new details, including the introduction of the deer-disliking Student Council members, a new key visual, and the opening and ending theme songs of the anime, which will air July 7th.
'My Deer Friend Nokotan' follows the story of high school student Koshi Torako, whose life takes a perculiar turn when she encounters Shikanoko, a girl with antlers!!
Helping Shikanoko leads to a series of unexpected events, intertwining the lives of a former delinquent and an antlered girl in a unique 'Girl Meets Deer' adventure.
The opening theme song, 'Shikairo Days', is performed by the Deer Club, featuring the voice actors of the in-series school club. The ending theme song, 'Shika-senbei no Uta', is sung by Megumi Han and Saki Fujita, in characters as Shinkanoko Noko and Koshi Torako.
The anime is directed by Masahiko Ota, known for his work on 'Himouto! Umaru-chan' and 'Onipan!', and is being produced by WIT Studios.
The series composition is by Takashi Aoshima, with character designs by Ayumu Tsujimura and music by Yasuhiro Misawa, famed for composing for 'Hinamatsuri'.
With all that being said, this anime promises to deliver a captivating blend of humour and heart-warming moments. Fans of Oshiroshio's original manga can look forward to seeing their favourite characters brought to life.
The anime is set to premiere in Japan on July 7th, and anticipation is building among eager fans.
