  Black Butler Season 5 Announced for 2025 19 Sept 2024 KITSUNE Anime series 'Black Butler' returns for Season 5 in 2025, after successfully returning this year. It has been officially confirmed that the beloved anime series 'Black Butler' will be returning for a fifth season in 2025, titled "Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc". The announcement was made during Anime Expo 2024, just after the fourth season of the anime concluded. The anime's revival has been a thrilling journey for fans, with Season 4 making a much anticipated comeback after many years.  Season 5, titled 'Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc', will introduce the next chapter of Ciel Phantomhive's dark and mysterious adventures in Victorian England. While the exact date has not been announced by Crunchyroll, the season will air sometime in 2025. In a recent survey carried out by Dream Train Internet Co , Japanese teenagers have emerged as the least interested demographic in anime, marking a significant shift. The study, conducted in January 2024, asked the preferences of 500 participants aged between 15 - 59. The results revealed a stark disinterest exhibited by Japanese teenagers, with 33.7% expressing no interest in anime, surpassing all other age brackets.  Similar trends have been seen in Western audiences, with a shift towards an older audience.  The results by age group also found, that the generation with the most people watching anime was in their 40s.  This revelation comes as a surprise given historically anime is tailored to the tastes of teenagers. The developers of the popular anime action-adventure game, Genshin Impact , have unveiled plans for a significant upgrade in visuals and functions in future game updates. In an official blog post , developers disclosed their intention of  "upgrading the overall visuals and functions of the game."   Former Smethwick Cinema Suspected Arson Attack   07 MAY 2024 An iconic 1930s cinema, has been tragically destroyed in what authorities suspect was an act of arson. The former Gaumont Cinema, built nearly a century ago in Smethwick, became engulfed in flames on Sunday (05/05/24). The Victoria Suite, located on Windmill Lane, drew 12 fire crews as smoke billowed from the four-story structure. West Midlands Fire Service , who attended the scene, have confirmed suspicions of deliberate arson. Listed as a Grade II heritage site by Historic England in 2000, the former Gaumont was lauded for its reputation during the 'golden age' of British cinema. A Historic England spokesperson said: "We are very sad to hear about the fire at the Grade II listed Mecca Bingo Club in Smethwick.
